I’m very honored that my diptychs “Sun Kissed” and “Windblown” are included in the exhibition If a Tree Falls: Art of the Boundary Oak presented by Bedford Gallery. The 325-year-old Valley Oak tree marked the boundary between Walnut Creek and Contra Costa County and it was destroyed in 2019 during an intense windstorm. Bedford Gallery invited artists to obtain wood from the tree and incorporate it into artworks to honor and give a second life to this monumental being. Please join me at the opening reception on October 30, 2021 from 3-5pm. The exhibition runs from October 30, 2021 through February 13, 2022.
